Parent Involvement
DeMolay encourages parents and guardians to be active participants in the chapter experience.
Mothers & Parents' Clubs
Many chapters have Mothers and Parents' Clubs that combine the energies of mothers, fathers, guardians, and step-parents. These clubs support the chapter through fundraising, event planning, and providing the behind-the-scenes work that helps every chapter thrive.
Meetings & Special Events
Parents are welcome to attend chapter meetings and special events. From installation ceremonies to community service projects and social gatherings, being present shows your son that you support his growth and value the organization that is helping him develop.
Advisors — Official Mentors
Parents and other qualified adults can serve as Advisors, the official mentors of DeMolay. Advisors guide the chapter's young leaders, provide support and counsel, and ensure that the chapter operates safely and effectively. It is one of the most rewarding volunteer roles available.
Volunteer Opportunities
Beyond formal advisor roles, there are many ways to contribute. From driving members to events and helping set up activities to sharing professional expertise with the chapter, every contribution makes a difference in the lives of these young men.
Safety is Paramount

Youth Protection Program
DeMolay's Youth Protection Program helps members recognize inappropriate behavior and equips them with the knowledge and confidence to respond appropriately in difficult situations.
Peer Pressure Resistance
The program addresses peer pressure regarding drugs and alcohol, giving young men the tools to resist negative influences and make healthy choices throughout their lives.
Improved Communication
DeMolay helps members improve communication with adults, including parents, teachers, and mentors. Open lines of communication create a stronger support system for every young man.
